Goals

As outlined in our manifesto, we have categorized different stages of what we consider achievable goals based on particular time frames.  The categories have been segmented into short-term, medium-term and long-term goals.

protecting the planet is most important.

Our Main Goals

Short-term

The main short-term goals will be to support the Green New Deal; to see politicians start to discuss this perspective of climate change and animal agriculture more- specifically all the different relevant senate and house committees; to see more environmental and animal rights legislation passed; to see the media discuss climate change and animal agriculture more; to see more animal rights and environmental rights groups come together with an angle that involves concern for both parties.

Medium-term

The main medium-term goals will be to see a new march or maybe even a holiday dedicated to the togetherness of animal rights and environmental rights issues; to achieve more significant traction on the Green New Deal; to convince politicians to stick their necks out and propose a bill to start taking steps to transform the food infrastructure; to see a decrease in subsidies for fossil and animal agriculture; to see an increase in subsidies for clean renewable energy and alternative food products such as plant-based alternatives and cultured meat and dairy.

Long-term

The main long-term goals will be to see the day where we live in a society powered by 100% clean renewable energy; where we all use highly sophisticated plant-based alternatives and cultured animal products instead of slaughtering animals for food; and to achieve a severance plan for coal miners, oil workers, farmers, and slaughterhouse workers so lucrative that they will almost want to quit.
